The Last Weekend

Well I guess I should post a little about my weekend since I haven't done that in a while. Well let's see Friday I called Sara and she picked up her phone I was so shocked. I wondered if she remembered what a Talk Button was. And then she called me back drunk a few hours later. It was good hearing some of that honesty from her. ;-)

Saturday I went into work and then got off around 9ish and Tara stopped by and Said Hello and asked me if I wanted to go to Dinner. So we got a hold of Jason and we met his friends Sara (Different Sara) and Russ and we had an awesome time. Then Ollie called me and was like Yo what's up and i was like Hey come over. So Preston and Ollie and Kayla showed up and it was grand. So after that we all went over to Ollie's house and watched Family Guy and got to know Sara and Russ who are awesome can't wait to see them again on Friday. We also listened to Ollie spin some Techno which was also a fun time.

I think a highlight of the weekend was talking to Arielle only really get to talk to her on weekends so it's always good to hear from her any chance I get. Also worked out some more plans with Maggie for the Drive in.

Sunday went and saw Bourne and it sucked ass. And that was about all from the weekend.

I will try to write more about life and less about movies I guess you can see what's really important to me this way. ;-)

The Bourne Supremacy

Okay I went to see this movie. And it gave me the biggest headache. The whole time all I could think is What the Hell is the camera man doing. It was the crappiest angles and couldn't hold the damn thing still. All I could think is Blair Witch and combine that with the old Bourne and add shitty camera angles.

But then the story was good. Just needed to send the camera man back to school or show him what a steady cam is.

Weekend is a while away but already I am excited for the Village. =)

Soup Aisle

I was in the grocery store today and I was walking down the soup Aisle. And I all of sudden felt overwhelmed by soup. There was just so much soup lots and lots of cans. There was no other people in this aisle but me and I was like does this aisle ever end.

So I avoid that store now. They are building a central market on this side of the Puget Sound Hopefully it will be just like the Poulsbo one.

I, Robot

Tristan Pipo Saw I,Robot and it was Awesome

I went and saw this movie with a few friends of mine and it started out okay. I was thinking A.I. again but then it actually had a bit more depth. The action in this movie was great. I was most impressed with the camera work. It would make some people dizzy but the shots were like Wow Matrix would be like shit.

Overall the plot was a little to easy to guess what was going to happen. But I enjoyed the film very much so. I will be buying this when it comes to DVD. Hopefully it's a 2 disc special edition I would really like to see the Making of this Film.

Kill Bill vol 2

Kill Bill vol 2 DVD. Tristan's Movie

Well as I do every few weeks I go over to Amazon.com and check out what's coming out in the DVD world nothing is really getting me to excited except I saw the release of Kill Bill vol 2 on August 10th. Kill Bill Vol 2 DVD So I have to keep that date open to go get that DVD. I saw the first Kill Bill in theaters with my ex. I don't think she really ever understood the first one and we were not together when the second one was released so I doubt she went to see it since the 1st one she left with a WTF impression. She just didn't understand Tarantino I would assume. Well I must say this DVD is lacking on features and DTS but the first one didn't have DTS either so I won't get to take full advantage of Surround Sound but 5.1 is always nice. I didn't dig the soundtrack on this film as much as the first but I bought both of them anyways it's like owning Matrix 1 and 2 and not getting the 3rd one even though it sucked.

DVD's I might get are the following:

  • July 20th - Starsky and Hutch
  • July 27th - The Whole Ten Yards
  • August 24th - Futurama (Vol 4)

Haven't been into the DVD scene to much. Just don't really have all that time anymore.

Wednesday Night

Tristan's Picture of the King Arthur Poster

Well I wanted to see this movie King Arthur I thought it would be good. Boy was I so wrong. I guess I thought it was so shitty because I was expecting something along the lines of how awesome the movie Troy was. But I just could not get into this movie at all. I went to go see it with my good friend Tara. Tara is a great loyal friend love her to death. Had to drive to the other side of the water but oh well she's worth it.

Here is her picture
Tristan's Picture of Tara

Then after that we went to Shari's a shitty food joint with shitty service that is just pure shit. Why do we go to this shit hole? For the offering of a 24hr diner and we always seem to have a good time. We called the Jason and he came out and it was a good time. I was messing with Tara and call blocking my # and calling her and she was like who the fuck is calling me at 1:30am. Me and Jason just laughed.

I got the Patty Melt I must say this sucked giant donkey dick. With gas going down below $2 finally life is decent driving everywhere doesn't really suck so much.

Pleasant weekend to everyone.

4th of July Weekend

I must say 4th of July was a lot of fun. On the 3rd of July me and Cassandra went down to watch the fireworks in Poulsbo and it was nice just holding her watching "The Fucking Things that go Boom in the Sky" and then we went to Ollies and Me, Cassandra, Darin and Kacey all just watched movies and had pizza.

The 4th of July we all got some Beer, Vodka, And other good beverages and sat in the hot tub and watched the sky be lit on fire. It was a good 4th from what I remember. =)

Google Mail

Well I signed up for this new e-mail address on Google's New System called GMail from initial tests it blows Hotmail, Yahoo and the other web mail clients I have used totally away. I figured I better get my name down so nobody else takes it.

Fahrenheit 9/11

Well me, Darin and Kacey went to go see this movie and I must say a great 2 hours spent in a movie theater I can't really see why they rated this movie R. There were some images that would be considered offensive but nothing worse then you see on discovery channel when a tiger eats a zebra.

Brings up a lot of good points that most people would never realize or take the time to find out. People say is this a Bush Hate film? Not really it shows Bush how he really is. As a Moron and loves his vacation when things are not going good for him. I didn't recall his first drive to the white house his limo being pelted with eggs. That was so awesome. I do like Bowling for Colombine a bit more then this film. But Fahrenheit 9/11 is a great movie and I would recommend that everyone see it. Bush fan or not.
