To Our Loyal Fans

Me and Darin made it safely to his new place in Cali. I am working on editing the trip journal to make it into a cool Blogger.com 4 Page DVD Exclusive. With special formatting with time and color it will be great.

The power of a Mac and Tristan and Darin and Windows XP.

Ahh Free Wireless Internet Access is amazing.

Current Favorite Song

Well I was laying in bed playing with my new laptop and I had Satellite Radio going and I heard this song by a group called O-Zone and I had been hearing it a lot on XM but never on Sirius. And I was like woah so I thought iTunes is always kinda behind on the times on Dance Music but suprise suprise they had it on there. It's called Mai Ai Hee (Dragostea Din Tei) [Original Italian Version] I made it easy for you to click on this and it loads iTunes for you and you can listen to the 30 second preview I highly suggest you get the full version it's only 99cents so what do you have to lose? It's such a happy great song even though I can't understand one word of it. ;-)

Darin's Going Away Party Audio

this is an audio post - click to play

This has to suck a lot I would imagine. I believe it rings in at just over 6 minutes. lol with a giant long pause in the middle because Andrea called me. Lots of Love to you Andrea.

Laptop is Here

Mwa ha ha. My Brand new 15'' Apple Powerbook G4 arrived yesterday. I was so excited I busted open the manual's to see if there was anything I really had to pay a great deal of attention to and it didn't seem that way so I turned it on. I ran through the registration process and it got all the data for my address and so forth from my AppleID and then there was no worries.

The iPod also came today I have been working on re ripping a great deal of my CD's because it's good to do that now and then and plus some I had before in Mp3 and I wanted them all in AAC again. After the battery had charged the first time and I had a few CD's ripped I plugged in the iPod. It recognized the iPod and it loaded iTunes and it automatically put all the music I had ripped into the iPod. I thought that was pretty sweet but sometimes giving up all that control is a little difficult.

I must say iChat blows AIM away I still have some more things to play with but so far it's beyond awesome. I also love how this is based on Linux but seems ever so much more useful. I loaded a Terminal Window and was doing all the same normal stuff I can do in regular Linux. Some commands were a bit different but that's not really a big deal I am a fast learner.

Downloading the World of Warcraft Beta to the laptop. 2.53GB But I have the 80GB HDD. I thought getting the MAC to interact with my Windows Desktop would be difficult but it just uses Samba. I don't like the fact that I have to mount the Windows Share every time I need to access that folder but you can setup an Auto Mounting System. But some things Windows XP is being anal about such as Protected DIr's and so forth. But I just have to lower the privacy level and get Service Pack to quit fucking things up.

Safari is awesome though I haven't imported all my settings from Firefox on my desktop PC and but it feels like a 5 star hotel away from home.

Went to college yesterday and was surfing the net outside a building on wireless 802.11b 11Mbps not so great but T1 is only 1.44Mbps and Cable at home is 3.0Mbps and 802.11g is 54Mbps. So we will see how that works out. I like the idea of being cordless. Average checks on the battery life so far are 3-4hrs and if I am watching a DVD it drops to 2.5hrs so that's not bad if you compare it to other laptops.

Anyway so far I am loving the Mac still have to hook up a digital camera and a digital camcorder to see how those work with Final Cut Express and so forth. I can't wait to get Keynote compare that to powerpoint.

Darin's going away party is tonight. Hope to see everyone there.

FedEx To the Max

Delivered it a day ahead of schedule but I wasn't at home to sign for it so it's sitting at FedEx right now in it's box. While I sit at home crying because I don't have it. It will be here tomorrow so I just have to skip work and wait for it. I am feeling a little sick perhaps.

I signed that it was okay for them to leave it at the front and they will leave here for me tomorrow to come pick up. Then Darin is having me over and we are going to go leeching off free Wireless Internet Access from local shops and download to our hearts delight. I have to download all the OS X updates and some music off the iTunes Music Store on the Mac. Which I could download at home but why. =)

Update

iPod Update

Well it appears that my iPod left China at 1:55pm and got to Alaska at 1:29pm the day before. If that makes any sense let me know. Have to love the International Date Line. Mwa ha ha.

Now it will go to Indianapolis, IN and then who knows where hopefully to my doorstep so I can take 20GB of my 56GB collection of MP3's wherever I may Roam by Metallica.

Laptop News Update

Well FedEx makes me think WTF. My laptop went from China to Alaska and now it's in Indianapolis, IN. Is this some cruel bitter revenge from Indiana that is still haunting me? More I tend not to think about that state it comes back to haunt me via Fed Ex. I wonder if my iPod will have to go to that state also. Luckily my laptop is scheduled to be here on Friday before 4:30pm. iPod monday is expected on Monday so I will have both before I go to California.

Anyways that's the update with me keep on trucking.

iPod

Well my iPod shipped this morning from China. I am beginning to think WTH why from China why couldn't they just send me an iPod from the Apple Stores in Bellevue, WA or the University District. I could have it today but no have to buy them online at the same time with a Student Rebate and they come from China.

I can understand the laptop since it's a custom job but the iPod WTH. Anyway everyone have a great Tuesday.

I have Math tonight w00t. Hopefully me Alexis and Jimmy can get out of there early tonight.

Laptop Shipment

Last night I got an e-mail saying that my laptop had shipped and I had a tracking #. Well I went last night and it said # had been submitted to FedEx but item had not been picked up.

So I get on this morning and it said the origin was "SHANGHAI CN" I thought whoa it has a long way to go. Across the Pacific Ocean and right to Seattle. So there is no est Delivery Date so I am kinda wondering as to when it will get here.

The iPod has yet to ship but I figure I am in the backstock list for that one. It's supposed to ship before Wed. I hope I have it by the 29th before me and Darin drive down to Cali.

More on that later.

Jon and Sims 2

HaHaHa

I always hated this game except for the fact you could make lesbians in Hot Tub's. Sims 2 has to be even cooler for that.

Rock on for Jon being Lazy in the Sims

Microsoft Mouse

I went to Best Buy and picked up this new version of the Microsoft Intellemouse Explorer. And it was listed for $39.99 and then I saw an Open Box Item one for $32.99 I was like sweet and I bought it. I took it home and plugged it into my laptop and it found it and asked me to program the extra buttons. A few minutes aside getting a Microsoft Mouse to work on a Mac it was good to go. I loaded up Safari and I went to scroll down and it wasn't scrolling down. So I tried again and it scrolled down a little bit. Then I was thinking WTF. So I have to take it back.

Waste the gas and the time out of my day to go to Best Buy again. Well shows what Open Box Items at Best Buy were like. Guess I will have to pay the extra $7 for the mouse I want. Maybe I should just penny up the extra cash for that Logitech Gaming Mouse. But I am not much of a gamer any more. Except for World of Warcraft Beta. That is the best game that will be out later this year. *hopefully*

Hope you enjoyed the mouse rant. I want to try that Microsoft S+ark Mouse. It looks amazing.

150th Post.. 2nd about Cell Phones

Well I was looking at the box that came with my Sprint Phone and there was a CD in there so I was like WTF a CD for a cell phone there are no cables to hook it up to my computer but there was a Welcome to Sprint PCS video in there. I thought that was pretty cool a nice little welcome video. I have had this phone since March and I just noticed the CD in there.

I thought this clip from the Video was rather funny. Sprint PCS Audio Clip

Just thought I would share. I really do enjoy Sprint over Verizon or that C company. Talk about stupid phones and crappy service.

Tom

Well I used to visit this site a lot when I found it on CollegeHumor.com and then I became a regular visitor when I found out he was a WA state Native and I was in Indiana at the time. But I really do find the stuff he does to be rather creative. His name is Tom and he used to be at www.seattlesatellite.com/tom but since then he is at his new home http://www.tomthinks.com But check it out for a few laughs. I will get back to posting awesome links. People really seem to like that I have an ability to find really odd stuff online.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA

Well coming up this weekend is the birthday bash for the coolest 19 year old in the world Andrea. It's her Birthday this Saturday she will be turning 20. What is going on for her Birthday well all I can say is that it will be fun and everyone better show up. Or I will have to hurt you all. The after party will be at the Casino for the $2 Breakfast Buffet and all the soda you can handle if you drink Soda.

Anyway many happy birthday's ahead for this lovely young lady. I will post some birthday pictures when I find some time after being sober. Maybe that will be time to bust out an audioblog since I have the abilty that I never use. Unlimited Night and Weekend Minutes.

Enjoy the day.

Lisa Lashes

Well I have talked and talked about how awesome Lisa Lashes is on the dance forum's on SiriusBackstage.com Forums and I really like a mix of a song she does called Psykofuk. Now many people are like: Tristan, I have never heard of it. Now the version I have is rather choppy from an old recording I have located from my buddy Preston.

So here it is for all those people who would like to download this file in all it's crappy glory. Preston gave it to me in CD format which I then ripped twice. Once into AAC MPEG-4 because it's my audio format of choice. And for all those lame retards who like MP3 encoding I am going to put that online for people to download. Since I have to up the quality it's at 192Kbps MP3 which brings in the total file size to 5.01MB. So download this 3:42 of audio heaven.

Lisa Lashes - Psykofuk There is a swear word in this after the build it says "Mother Fucking Psycho" and then it hits and it's sweet.

Enjoy it.

Internet Explorer Problems- Get Mozilla Firefox

Well today I decided to try IE out for a little while since I installed Service Pack 2 on my machine and I noticed that it didn't put the DJ Tiesto graphic behind the text so it took all the sidebar text and moved it down to the bottom right hand corner. I thought WTF I am a Mozilla Firefox Loyalist so I put up a banner to get Firefox it's only 4.7MB download and kill's IE. Click on the link above to get Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox.

Should I fix the graphic for all the IE troubles people have? Nah just let them suffer like the rest of the IE using morons still out there.

DJ Tiesto - Just Be

Well I just picked up this CD a week ago. DJ Tiesto - Just Be. I must say this is his hot new release that kicks a lot of ass. The best songs are
Track 2- Love Comes Again
Track 3- Traffic
Track 10- Adagio For Strings

So Tiesto is the #1 DJ in the world. And not buying this CD may be dangerous because I will go up to you and be like WTF man. You don't like Tiesto. You must pay the price of death.

If you click the title of the Blog it will take you to the Amazon.com Site to get you a copy. It is well worth it. They also have 30 sec Previews for those of you who don't take my word.

1yr Anniversary Post

Well 1yr of posting has finally arrived. I just got home from class and I must say oh what a year of posting. Went from Indiana back to Seattle. Went from having a girlfriend to not having a girlfriend. Being single is a great aspect of life that I can now enjoy being 21. I went from never having a drink to having quite a few drinks though I don't drink much at all. Maybe one when I go out to dinner with friends.

Went from that crappy Orange and White Color scheme. To this new awesome Black, White, Green Color Scheme. I also added XML and I added BlogThis and Blogwise. So it's been an interesting year. Went to a few Raves, Ran a few Raves. Started school again finally and getting that part of my life back on track. Have a great job and awesome benefits that I really get to enjoy.

We added a comment system and life is all good except when Rachel or her stupid friends get on here and post crap and then I go in and delete it. But one year is down maybe I should change the archive system to years instead of months. But we will see if that is really worth it. If I could do years and then months perhaps that might be a better idea.

But thanks to all my readers. And as always this Blog will be adfree and able to host whatever the hell I want.

Class ran late. Sorry this wasn't more informing. I will do some date hacking and post a better update on another date and make it look like this date and control the world. Mwa Ha Ha.

Just getting some of the updates completed for tomorrows anniversary features we now have the Blogger NavBar and the XML Feed for all the raw news sent to you via it's Raw data format in XML and RSS. Enjoy my friends the 1 year anniversary post comes tomorrow when I get out of class.

Jon Waderich

Jon W's Blog

Well my friend Jon has created a blog. So I am linking to it because the more links I have to relevant sites then the higher I will rank on the search engine later. So I hope everyone will go there and post on his blog.

Comments will be enabled again in time so again I might start to really care what other people think. Anyway rock on Jon and keep up the blogging Tunes.

Rachel and Deanna

Why are they such immature drama queen bithces? They come on here and post all kinds of stupid shit. For this reason all comments are now shut off because they have to ruin everything for everyone.

But that's what sisters do I guess. They think shit is funny at the time but they never seem to realize that most of the stuff they do I do not find funny at all.

Well Now

Last night Deanna called me and said my ex was talking about me on her blog. I don't visit her blog but link to it now and then just if something seems right. I found this line about me rather offensive.

"It has been recently discovered that a ghost from my past has been haunting my xanga. I will soon be making a call to the Ghostbusters to remove this techno loving, beer guzzling version of Slimer."

It also asked me to remove her link on the page. Well I won't remove it but I won't post it anymore. So I will respect that wish. But let's see now techno loving. Well I don't love Techno. Techno is just a little out there for me. I am more of a Trance, House, Progressive, Euro Dance music kind of guy. But don't expect most people to know the difference. Next Part Beer guzzling. Well I must say WTF I have had maybe 3 beers since I have turned the age of 21. If I do drink beer it's Corona or the Malt stuff which isn't really beer. I.e. Smirnoff Ice Mikes Hard Lemonade, Bacardi Raz, Zima. I don't really enjoy that barley taste in beer though some dark beers for example Black Butte Porter is good is has a chocolate sort of coffee taste to it or Hefenweizen are good. I much more enjoy Hard A. So if future reference is made I would prefer Long Island Guzzling Version of Slimer or Rum and Coke guzzling Slimer. But she doesn't know me anymore so I would expect a comment like this.

I would also like to speak out that I have only been drunk 3 times since I have turned 21. My 21st Birthday which I spent in Idaho for my friend Nick's Wedding to Kristin, 4th of July and Darin's Landlords Party.

I haven't insulted my on this Blog and when I did I was immature at the time and removed it. I don't recall exactly what I did after we broke up to set her off on this tangent of not ever wanting to speak to me again. But people grow and people change. I also hope she has a good life. I wish her much success and wealth. I also heard that the dog that was there named Lady had passed on according to my sister. Lady was a great dog so I do feel bad about the Miller Family's loss on that.
