Well yesterday I said I would have an update and Hey! I was right and so lets just jump start this blog.

I was making some observations about how I aquire information. And was thinking about it. I don't watch much TV at all. The only thing I use a TV for is playing some Video Games and DVD's. I did watch the Live 8 concert rerun because I heard it was just amazing to see Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney Come back and do some stuff. But I could have listened to it on XM Radio when it reruns all the time on the various channels. I haven't watched a Sitcom or a Program on TV for ages. The last time that I really watched TV to watch TV was when I had a girlfriend and sat down to watch Survivor or American Idol. But now being single have I ever sat down to watch one of these Shows? No, I may flip on TV to see what Music Video has come out but not really so much anymore not with iTunes or AOL Music it's all right there. But I began to think how come I don't watch TV? Well if we sit back and look at TV most programs on TV are geared towards women. There is not one time I can think of in the past year that I have sat down with my guy friends and had a discussion about some recent program on TV. The only time I really hear about anything on TV is from the times I have called Preston and his sister and girlfriend are watching American Idol or something.

I like movies myself because at least movies make an attempt to grab my focus. TV has done nothing to grab my attention. Male TV viewers between the ages of 18-25 are down 32% this year. The big wigs that run TV are trying to figure out why. Do you really think any guy really cares about Desperate Housewives, Laguna Beach, American Idol, Any Reality Show. No I could really care less. I heard this new artist on my Sirius Radio named Carrie Underwood some song about Heaven I was thinking where do they come up with these people. A little further research she was an American Idol star.

We can also look at TV channels there are how many for women? I can think of Lifetime, HGTV, Food, O, E! are the ones that pop into my head right off the bat. And we look at channel for guys. Let's see the one that claims to be all guy stuff is Spike TV. But they don't seem to have anything that I would like. "Oh Tristan what about all the sports networks" I could care less about Sports on TV. I just don't dig TV anymore nothing to draw me to any show.

The Sirius Satellite Radio topic we can skip. Because I don't have all my notes with me at school right now that I scribbled my thoughts down on. Also I won't have the Hitchhikers Guide to Blogging Audio either because the school blocks Port 21 which FTP uses so I can't post that either.

But anyways I wanted to talk about my friends. I was thinking about this the other day when I was just doing some swimming. Thinking of who my real friends are and what I think about my friends. I was thinking that I haven't asked really anything of my friends ever. But they seem to ask stuff from me all the time. I get calls from people always wanting favors. Can you do this? Can you help me with this? My computer is broken can you fix that? I can't get my e-mail! Can I borrow this? I was thinking what have I asked of my friends other then friendship? Well the one thing that comes to mind is I was going to go pick Darin up at the airport when I got out of class one night. I went to stick the Key in the trunk and it broke off. So I had to ask Darin to take a Cab to my school and we used his Triple A card to get a new key made so we could drive home. But that is the first time I have asked someone to go above and beyond what they need to do. Most I ask of my friends is friendship or company to hang out. But most of the time I get "reasons" that they are to busy. Or something came up. Well to those people I am just thinking whatever. I would go above and beyond the call of duty for my friends day or night for anything. But asking them to hang out. Go see a movie that I would like. Oh that's just to much to ask from them.

But I guess that shows that the nice guy will always finish last. But I think that part of me is slowly going away and I have been getting more results from being a bit well mean. People call me and say you want to hang out for this blah blah then if you could fix this. I just say No.

I got a text message saying "Hey we Might be going to a bar if you want to come hang out" I replied "I am tired of Might. Let me know if it's a sure thing"

I just am getting tired of the flaky people. It seems to be in the water in this area flaky people are just everywhere. I think it is a larger problem with the females then the Males.

Edit: Okay I guess I should point out who I am not really happy about. It's mostly Ollie and his group aside from the Me and Preston side of things. No offense is directed towards anybody else. Just have a bit of a problem with Ollie as of recent and all his negative views and asks so much of me and I ask really nothing of him but if I do ask something it's to much to handle for him.
