Now most of my regular visitors know that I am a Podcast Addict. Which has got me thinking when I first heard this new idea called Podcasting was when I was watching the Apple WWDC Apple WWDC Quicktime TV For those to lazy to go watch this video I grabbed the audio from the video from the part all about Podcasting.

I have listed what podcasts I subscribe to. Now some of you may know that Me and Preston started a little website NailsInTheRoad.com and we got the idea to start writing some short comedies. We have filmed a couple but the idea never really took off. But I still really like the name NailsInTheRoad and I am planning on launching a podcast. Using NailsIntheRoad or as we have started to called it NITR. I have found this to be a lot of Work. My Partner in crime has launched a videocast under the NitR flag and it requires iTunes. And the new iTunes 5.0.1 has Quicktime 7 and the new H.264 Codec so you can view that VideoCast or Podcast

I recommend iTunes to everybody I can't find a better player out there it's your all in one Jukebox. It Rips your CD's to MP3 or AAC, You can purchase music and download it to your iPod. I manage all my music with it and it's the easiet program to use out there for this work.

So reading this the thought has crossed your mind. "Tristan WTF are you going to podcast about?" Well the format for the show that I have planned as of right now is mainly about life. We have toyed with a few names "The Essentials - Computers, Life and Girls" has come to mind. Then we got to thinking we don't get a lot of girls so we crossed that idea out. Though Computers and LIfe are good. And Life can be anything including Girls when we get them. I also planned on featuring News Articles Of Interest.

I am planning on Getting a SkypeIN Phone # so we can have call in guests for those that are to lazy to install Skype and VoiceChat. I also plan to have cohosts I planned on rotating through Preston, Mike And the Russian ;-). I have always had this crazy dream that Talk Radio Personality would be a great job to have. But I haven't really found a way to break into this type of industry so just going to do it with this new Podcasting Technology just have been doing a lot of behind the scenes work and lots of testing.

The most difficult part has been the audio production getting music, effects, content all lined up and all the legal crap with what I can and cannot play. Been messing a lot with Garageband and thought about getting Logic and Soundtrack and testing those programs on my Mac seeing what I can do. But this has been in the planning for a long while.

Also if you install iTunes that Top 10 List you see is actually an Ad for iTunes that is why if you have ever clicked those links and they don't take you anywhere you need iTunes cause they will take you to the song in the store.

Also if you buy anything after clicking on any one of those links I make 5% of whatever you buy in 24hrs after clickong on one of the links. =)
