Well as a few of you know I am one of those Satellite Radio Legends who has been in the community ever since the beginning. I got XM first day it was released and Joined ClubXM.com in Feb of 2002. Became a Moderator in March of 2002 and have been around XMFan.com and SiriusBackstage.com since they were in the new. But I came across a classic post I made archived by the one and only guy who took the time to archive ClubXM.com in a Best Of way.
How Fast Can You Drive And Not Lose Satellite Radio
Now I made this post with the idea when I was in Indiana that everytime I would go to the Drive up ATM I would lose Satellite Radio service because of the covered bay area. But I would also keep service for a few seconds after that. So I got to thinking if you had a car or something to basically lift up off the ground and drive on imaginary road that just went in a circle around the earth how fast would you have to be driving between signal loss and gain that you technically would never lose signal.
It turned into a pretty good debate and it's gone down as one of the few greatest posts in History. I would like to thank that site for archiving that post. It was crazy to see that again. It was a good laugh. Then an XM Engineer came on the board and said don't worry about it slow down and enjoy the music. Well where is the fun in that and I still never got an answer.
