In Search of Alcohol

this is an audio post - click to play

Quick Summary After the show on our quest around Seattle at Night for some Alcohol.

Quick Note we were all walking out of the paramount. And these girls were in an apartment building they had to have been like 13 and 15 and all they guys were shouting. "Show your Tits" They would grab them and shake but no top was ever removed. Some guy yelled out "attention whore" We all had a laugh and they shouted back "Fuck You" and they left. That was a good time. There was a weird vibe in the air. 2756 guys were all in this theater and 2 women. All the guys were just running on this total Testosterone High and you could just feel it in the air. Tom Leykis had been talking about this shirt he came up with that would piss off so many people it was going to be the shirt of shirts. When I saw it I couldn't believe how lame it was. I was expecting to be blown away like have to have it shirt. For $25 all it had was the Boys Night Out Seattle Artwork and on the back "I Left the Bitch at Home" not amazing to me.

But I will have an audio commentary of all my thoughts from the show and post that later. Anways thanks for making a pit stop at blogger.siriusdude.com

Intermission at Boys Night Out

Intermission at Boys Night Out

I thought it was so funny show takes a break and everyone runs to the bar. The Guys we were sitting around on our left were these two guys and they didn't laugh once. That either tells me they are gay or easily offended. The guys on our right were these Asian guys from British Columbia. They had the smallest digital camera I have ever seen.

Before, Break and After the show they had this DJ. DJ LadyTribe All me and Preston were thinking was that she sucked. Then I got to thinking a bit more. Most guys don't want to listen to Hip Hop it made the girls that were just there to look at which was an odd experience being able to just stare and not feel bad about it. But I think everyone around me would had enjoyed some famous rock band or maybe not so famous doing rock over this crap. She was a horrible DJ and her website doesn't say much.

But comedians were awesome. I liked how Tom's introduction was talking about how Comedians didn't like doing the Comedy Club Circuit because they have to deal with the managers telling them to tone the show down. They might offend people. But doing Boys Night Out they can do comedy for all guys without worrying about offending the women. So they were brutal and the result was just guys being guys and we were laughing our asses off.

Outside the Paramount for Boys Night Out

Now this was an experience. Standing outside watch the 100.7 Buzz booth setup and cops walking around. The view of a slutty dressed girl that was trying to get in the front instead of the back was common. It was kinda crazy to get a feel for the crowd. I did see one woman who was dressed as a man. She had short hair and was wearing a hoodie you could tell she had breasts and walked like a woman does.

The greatest was seeing two boys around the ages of 8 and 10. Good Times.

Tonight Is the Night!

Well Just got off work going to shower change clothes go drop off a DVD and then catch the Ferry. Meeting up with Preston and going to go hit a few bars grab a few drinks and go check out the Paramount. The recording of the show is goign well. We are up to 35 mins and 31.4MB I will edit out all the commercials and so forth and it will be great.

I grabbed a few disposable cameras and going to take a lot of pictures =).

Anyeays I will be audioblogging this and just having a good time. Anyways if you want to be on the phone on the blog shoot me an e-mail to me on my cell phone tristan.cell@gmail.com with your phone # and I will call you and put you on the blog.

I grabbed a second cell phone battery for extra battery life. Anyways thanks for stopping by.

Audio Tests

I was playing around this morning in Garageband and found this track editor called Vocal Reflection. And hearing this back reminds me what I would sound like if I was that announcer guy at a Drag Race or a D-Derby with that huge echo effect. Pretty cool stuff.

Want to check out my test Voice Test - Echo

Enjoy.

Tom Leykis - Boys Night Out on Friday

Well I am going for something along the lines of the Star Wars Movie Event but I have a few extra things in mind. So here is all the nerdizary. Clever play on words like Wizardy mwa ha ha.

Anyways me and Preston are going to the event on Friday. This is what the blogging experience will be like.

1. I will be recording on my laptop Friday's Tom Leykis Show and will edit it out all the commercials from his show and post the interesting bits here relating to Boys Night Out.
A. Subtopic A =) Since I will be recording from FM Radio I will run a Mini Stereo Jack from the headphone port on my boom box to my laptop and using Audio HiJck Pro I will record in 160Kbps MP3. Export that MP3 file to Garageband and then split the track where necessary and cutout the commercials and then scan for the pieces of his show and then Split the GarageBand Track and then Export the Garageband clip to iTunes. Convert it from AIFF To MP3 and then open it up in Audacity for a bit more Cut and Paste setup for What I want. Then I want and post them here.
2. I will be Phone Blogging in Feedback and the Waiting in Line Experience and the hilartity of everything as often as possible.
3. We should have a digital camera around take some pictures.

So I should have the total summary and reviews, pictures, and audio up Sunday but I will shoot for Saturday. This will be my attempt at trying to share that experience with everyone. That is not going or is going to Ollies Show.

Anyways Thanks for Reading. If your going to be at the Seattle Boys Night Out Show drop me an e-mail Tristan@siriusdude.com

Peace Out!

First Time Drinking!

Post # 466 figured I would backtrack to October of 2003 when I go to take a trip to NYC to visit Sirius Satellite Radio HQ. This was one of the most fun trips I had ever taken. Got to stay in a nice hotel and see all the sights of NY that we had time for. But anyways my first experience drinking to get drunk.

I am a moderator at SiriusBackstage.com which is the #1 and only Sirius Satellite Radio Fan Site. And we got offered a trip to go out to NYC to meet with the people at Sirius which was awesome in itself.

So after a day ties and handshakes and laughing we went out to dinner in little Italy. I was 20 at the time and sitting around the table with Jeff, Ryan, Dave, Sterling, Me, Tom, John, and some other people from the Sirius Crew they brought over wine. I being the youngeset of the group said I was to young to drink but they just started to pour me this red wine.

And I had a glass and then another glass and another glass. I was feeling happy and enjoying the meal and just having a drunk good time. So we are all a bit drunk and we decide that hey lets go hang out. So I was sharing a room with Sterling at the time and we decide hey lets go ride the subway.

So we stumble out of the Hotel and down into the Subway since we were in Times Square we just crossed the street and down into the subway. And we get on there and sitting there going to whereever this subway happened to take us which was out to Queens in the middle of the night. So we are thinking "Shit Shit we need to get out of here" then we said "Back to Times Square" So we ran down the platform down the stairs back up the other side and were standing there trying to act not drunk.

We see this group of black guys all break dancing around a boombox. I thought this was to cliché and we had to check it out. So we walk over and they are all saying Hello and we are all freaking out trying to figure out why we walked over there and we just started to dance hoping we wouldn't get stabbed. And they were all cool about it and the train came back and we said Laters and went back to Times Square.

We strolled into Virgin Records and Paul Van Dyk was mixing live for the release of his new record at the time Reflections and according to the recipt I was the 6th person to buy it. =)

So then we went back to the hotel and crashed. Next day we were at Sirius and Paul Van Dyk himself was there and I got him to sign my copy of his new CD. And called Ollie and was like Boo Ya I got to meet Paul Van Dyk and you didn't so life went on. And that was my first drinking experience.

Another Show Down

Well last showdown we had was in January between Ollie an the Brawny Man. I added that post to the Best of along with the Worst Day Ever and Cookie Girl.

So I thought it was time for another showdown of the friend versus the celeberity. This one is between my lovely newly 21 year old friend Andrea and by the team of twins that can chew gum like there is no Tomorrow! THE DOUBLEMINT TWINS!

So lets start off by a crappy screen grab of the doublemint twins.

The challeneger Andrea is a 21 year old female living in the great state of WA. I met her online trying to hookher up with Ollie and failed and we remain close as friends.

I leave it up to the blogging world to be the judge.

.Mac Trial

I signed up for another .Mac Trial since the upped the space from 250MB to 1GB thinking about using it to host some plans we are working on. I posted a video on there that we have had at NailsintheRoad.com for a while now. But figured it was having some problems so if you would like to view it check out my new .Mac Page at http://homepage.mac.com/tristanpipo/ If someone wants to sponsor and donate money for creation for a .mac account drop me a line. E-mail is on the Right. Or hit up Tristan@siriusdude.com

Also I have started a post today that will answer some people's questions about my life that I have been getting a lot of feedback about. So expect that soon.

Do the Puyallup!

Well last Friday me and Jason hit up the Fair of All Fairs in Puyallup I wanted to get there really early but figured bah why? It was Friday and not many of the young kids would be around to cause crowds and annoy us. I hate when you are walking and you get stuck behind a lady with a stroller cause the kids are all loud and they want to stop every two minutes. Anyways.

So we get there about 1pm or so. We had to make to many stops before we got on the road. Sprint store is kinda being a pain right now. Anyways we get there and parking at the fair parking lot was $7 I was thinking $7 + $10 what a waste we found a parking spot about .25 of a mile away and it was $5 so we did that.

We get into the fair and the first thing we see is a booth with free Vitamin Water. Score! We were walking around trying to see what there is to do and there was a show starting called Billy and the Hillbillies and I can't figure out why Jason wanted to see this. A bunch of annoying guys singing songs and twangy it was country with a little extra I guess. I didn't really dig it and wanted to leave by the 4th song but we were trapped by old people who wanted to watch this show. So we snuck out just by going.

After that went to go see my Dad cause he works at the fair every year and this was the first time I have been since I was a sophomore or Junior in HS and he hooked me up with a free Diet Coke. This was Jason's first time to the fair so after the Diet Coke experience figured it was time to raise my cholesterol a few thousand points and had to get my favorite thing at the fair an elephant ear. It's a giant piece of dough deep fried and then they add Cinnamon and Sugar and it's just damn good. $5 was a bit pricy for dough but eh they are awesome.

Our next stop was to check out this guy named Steve Trash who does magic with items he has found and it's kinda David Blaine Style No floating though then we thought we should go check out some rides. Rides were crazy I remember they used to be like 3 tickets for any ride and 5 for the big ones. But every ride was 5 or 6 tickets and each ticket was $1 each. I couldn't justify that $20 for maybe 12 minutes total of entertainment. I can pay $6.50 and get two hours at the movie. So we avoided the rides. I wanted to do that slingshot ride for two riders it was $50 and I was up for dropping $25 on that but Jason wasn't so we didn't do that.

We got to check out the sites and we got to see Hypnotist Travis Fox he has been at the fair every year I have been there and he does a great show with his victims. I almost fell victim the second performance of the day I nodded off while he was doing his thing to everybody but I got out if at the last second. I have been sleeping really well ever since.

After his first show me and Jason were hungry so we stopped at Earthquake and got a 1lb Burger with 1/2lb of Grilled Onions and I love grilled onions and this burger was like $9 but been so long since I have had it and it was just damn good. Then we checked out the photo and art gallery. I remember as a little boy going in there just to see if they had any girls naked. These were always in black and white . This year there was none. lol

So we walked around the fair and I saw 4H dogs and was thinking have to check this out see if any bassets are around. Didn't see any but I couldn't help but think this would be something Kacey would dig. Jason nodded in agreement and we got out of there ASAP.

Hoobastank was there they had a free concert. I can't say I am a large Hoobastank Fan but the price was right and got to see all the high and junior high kids try to show their support. Watching people dive off stage was funny and one girl ran up and was jumping around the guitarist and then she ran into the crowd with a Dive.

One note about the fair. I don't really dig tattoos on females but they can be used as a rule of thumb of knowing who is over 18 and not jailbait. But this doesn't apply to the fair. You see all these fake tattoo places around and girls are getting these and it just distorts the age. And me and Jason were feeling like petaphiles all day long. As we decided not a good place to meet girls at the fair. Better to bring a date with you. =p

After this we left and went to Justin's going away party and then went home to crash.

Pledge of Allegiance

This has been a huge topic recently should "under god" be removed?

I think Yes it should be removed because we are not "one nation under god" there are many different beliefs in America that's what is great about being here. I don't think children in school should have to say something that they do not understand or believe in. As a child I was unaware of what I was saying and when I became mentally aware around the age of 10 I quit saying it. Because I believed it to be a false pledge.

In case you did not know the Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by a socialist Baptist Minister named Francis Bellamy and the first version did not include the words under god. It used to read

I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. In 1923 and 1924 the National Flag Conference called for the words my Flag to be changed to the Flag of the United States of America. The reason given was to ensure that immigrants knew to which flag reference was being made. The United States Congress officially recognized the Pledge on June 22, 1942

In 1954, after a campaign initiated by the Roman Catholic Knights of Columbus, Senator Homer Ferguson of Michigan sponsored a bill to amend the pledge to include the words under God, to distinguish the U.S. from the officially atheist Soviet Union, and to remove the appearance of flag and nation worship.

So we put the phrase "Under God" in the pledge because we were afraid of the communists? Well last time I looked the cold war was over. I don't think you should be required at all for not wanting to say this pledge if you do not believe in it. But most kids at school would be to afraid not to say it. Because you don't really want to stand out in elementary school or in Junior High because it's hard enough to make friends as it is. Don't want to make it any harder.

Someone will probably present the following arguments to me. "But Tristan what's the harm if they don't know what they are saying" Well I think that nobody should say what they do not understand. But most people are morons and sign things without reading them. Install software without reading the EULA (End User Liscense Agreement) or the TOS (Terms of Service) I didn't read all of my cell phone contract before I signed it. But i had 14 days to decide if I wanted it or not.

I think this is just religon creeping into the public school since the 50's and I just do not agree with it at all. We should have a pledge that is accepted by all. Not just by the religous types. I would have no problems about saying the version we used to say between 1924 - 1954.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all."

But then again I really don't trust how this country has been. We are not united under one leader. Watching Bush leave the White House will be a great day. Watching him hold his head down for how poorly he served us. The next president I feel sorry for He (or She) will have one hell of clean up job to take care of.

Random Series of Events - Post #460

Well lets see what has been up since Saturday Night.

Saturday!!!!
Well I worked and then went over to Ollies new pad and we hung out and had a few beers just enjoying life. Did what guys do when they hang out just BS and talk about how we want girls and have none. The guests were Me, Ollie, Nick S, Nick K, Justin and Justin's Roomate. Did some talking about a Going Away party for Justin because he is going to NY to fix up properties for his Dad. So if you would like to go awesome it's Friday Night from Whenever - Whenever. Then everybody left and it was Me, Ollie and Nick S. So we went to Jack in the Box and saw how happening the area was at 1am.

Sunday!!
Well Sunday was just a moderatly Blah Day. Went over to the Russians House to get a workout Did a combination of Yoga and Ty Chi (Spelling is wrong) and lots of lifting. Discovered that Me, Jason and Nick have been doing it all wrong and for the first time since I started I have been in pain. Just kinda a blah day Had some steaks and corn on the cob. I love corn on the cob I could eat like 10 ears. Watched some bizarre movie over there about some girl being brought into sainthood starring Ed Harris.

Monday
Sometimes I wish blogger had a selection of random audio clips I could just use at Random. I would put that cheesy song it's a Manic Monday. I hate the song but eh What is more fitting for a Monday Post?

Anyways, Monday was kinda laid back. Was in pain from working out and made plans to hang out with Kacey taking Dogs to the Dog Park. I would like to send Best Wishes to Kacey on the loss of her cat Buddy. I did not know him well but always a delight to watch her dog chase him around a bit.

Tuesday
Well I had to be up at 5:00am so I didn't sleep much and went to work and then got off work and went to class.

There was a crazy moment of the evening where the psycho girl came along. Here is the link Crazy Evening Post #437 But I got a text message on my cell phone it read as follows "Hey Ya'll I am going to jail on Thursday for Six Months so if you can't get a hold of me that's why." Now this just made me think WTF? Upon a reply I found out she couldn't pay a speeding ticket and she gets 6 months. I thought that was a bit crazy 6 months how much could a speeding ticket be? I would rather charge the amount on a credit card and pay the interest over going to jail. But that's just me. Makes me feel lucky that way that I am me and not her and didn't date her or do anything bad with her. On a side not I wonder how many people scroll through the archives of posts.

Going to class is always a delight. Most people always have comments of the blog. Some that people said this week. Which will boost the man's Ego "I love that Russian Guy's Comments Do you Know HIm?" lol That was a great one. I forgot my HDD for the labs and had nothing to do. Felt like an moron for forgetting that. So I get home fairly early 10pm this time and Nick gives me a call saying "Hey were going to the Skate Park to rollerblade and skateboard come out" So I went out not being good at either but I got to skateboard a bit falling on my ass most of the time. But hey it was a good time sitting out in the skate park until 1am and just chilling with friends. Nick, Justin, Jon and Myself. The only damper on the evening was some jerk off broke some beer bottles in the skate park and skating over glass was just not my thing. Next time I go I should bring a broom.

Anyways that brings us to today. Figured end this blog with a note about today. Google released a new search tool just for Blogs. http://blogsearch.google.com/ We shall see how it compares to Technorati but anyways if you want to find anything on any blog powered by mostly Blogger since it's owned by Google check it out. =)

Exorcisim Of Emily Rose

Tonight I went to go see this movie with Nick, Sydnee, Diana and of course myself. I had no expecations for this movie not seeing or reading anything about it before I ventured out on this journey. It was different then I had expected I thought it would be all horror but it takes place in a court room and you get to see a trial pan out of all of this. Which put a unique twist kinda like knowing the end result but not really. Laura Linney played the main role and I kept thinking Life of David Gale. This time around she was attractive.

I was watching this movie and they kept talking about how her being in the possesion of demons. Which they in the past have associated with Epilepsy. So that got me thinking I don't know much about this. So I went over to Wiki and looked it up Epilepsy Wiki Entry and then kept mentioning this drug called Albutol but doing some research on the treatment it came up as Felbatol. Was the only "Tol" that I could find in the drugs to treat this disease.

I found this site Felbatol Info I guess it's a new drug but the side effects are in the billions I think the only thing it doesn't cause is pregnancy as a side effect.

So yeah the movie was decent it is not something I would go out and buy on DVD. I don't think I would even rent this movie. But if someone said Hey Tristan want to come watch it. I would go hang out and enjoy it but not somethign I would spend money on.

I wish I could say more without giving away anything but if you have to go see this. See a Matinee or Sneak In. =p

Cell Phones

Well with the news the Apple released a new cell phone called the Motorola ROKR me being the Mac Head that I am is just lusting after this phone. But I have to think about my current cell phone and where I would like go to with it.

Currently I am running a Sanyo 8100 SCP Phone with Sprint PCS.
Sanyo 8100 Page

It's a good phone been great to me I have the extended battery. But the text messaging sucks on this phone and I hate text messaging. Mike had a great quote that I will now use "If I am not worth the minutes don't text me" To check a text message on my phone is a giant pain in the ass. I get a little notice saying you have new "Short Mail" So I have to press Okay, Then Go and then it starts connecting to the internet and downloads the page where my text message is at. Then I have to open that text message on the page and then I get to read it. Then I have to highlight reply and then load yet another web page on my phone. Then use T9 Word to type my reply and then click send and then wait for another page to load. To much work for a text message. It takes 20-30 mins to have a 4 line conversation. Would have taken maybe 2 minutes with voice.

I can't say I enjoy text messaging. It's a pain and I find that the market for text messaging is all females. Most of the text messages I get from guys are because I request them. LIke I called Nick asking him if he could send me a text of our friend Steve's # so I could call him to go to the gym. Or I will get the text message from Jason with something saying "Lost?" Still I have to go through the process of all these windows and load times and not something I want to do while driving.

THe functions I like of having the internet on my cell phone are that I can login to my siriusdude.com webmail client from the phone via website. Checking Movie Times and Weather is also handy. I can also Sign Into AIM, Yahoo and MSN if I so choose. But they are bugged to all hell and don't want to reload website after website to just say Hello. I can also use my VNC app to login to my laptop or computer at home and do some various tasks.

But it's something I could totally live without. But some people only communicate via text. Tara comes to mind she always responds to texts oddly. Hey I was sleeping how you been. Or she tells me she is havingn sex asking how I am doing. The first thought that crosses my mind is that Paris Hilton Porn where they are going at it and she answers her cell phone. That would piss me off to No end. That's like answering the cell phone on a date. (Yes I have done It... Mistakes were made.. Leasons wer Learned) Going to the movies with Tara is a pain cause she text messages people during the movie. Me being the movie freak that I am this drives me crazy There are a few people I refuse to watch movies with and that is Tara. I can't sit next to her. Or Darin because he talks and says what did he just say. Who cares I will tell you later now Shut the Hell Up before I shove this Cup down your throat!

Anyways. Back to cell phones. I am locked into my Sprint Contract until March 14th 2006. I am eligible for a Phone Upgrade on September 14th 2006. My Sanyo 8100 the Antenna is broken off so I have crappy service unless I am near a tower which is most of the time. Now before I saw the new Apple Phone I was planning on getting either the Sanyo MM 5600 Or the Sanyo MM 8300 Both are for Sprint PCS and they both get rid of Short Mail and have true SMS Text Messaging. In case your not up with all the lingo SMS is the system that most new phones have today. And here is the Wiki For It.

But right now since I need the internet to send text on my current phone I get unlimited internet and text for $15 a month. I could justify that because I had the internet but on my next phone if I stay with Sprint I have to get a texting option. Not something I want to double pay for internet and text. And I would just prefer to save the $15 so makes me think about the people who do Text Me.. That would be Kacey, Tara, Melissa, Sydnee, Barbara are the most frequent in no real order. On the rare occasion I get a text from Jason, Nick or Hans but hardly ever. So that is something I have to decide.

But anyways that comes to the choice of which carrier do I want. I really want that new ITunes Phone

It's not a flip phone which kinda bothers me but it's pretty small gets 6-10hrs of talk time. Which in itself is amazing my current phone with extended battery is about 4-5hrs when it's fully charged on a good day. It has iTunes which would make it basically a second iPod. It could sync all my contacts with iSync and my calendars which would make life so much easier.

Offical ROKR Site

It's on a totally different carrier it's on the Cingular Network which I am not so famaliar with. But that phone is just damn cool. Bluetooth, USB Sync, iTunes. I wouldn't have to convert ringers to QCM or MIDI format I can use AAC, MP3 or even the Protected AAC from the iTunes Music Store songs for Ringtones. But my phone is on vibrate 98% of the time. So eh The price is $249.99 and no rebates on the phone yet. So I am going probably wait out until March and see where I want to go with my cell phone choices.

But that new iTunes Enabled Cell Phone I am just craving like a dog in a cage craves a steak being dragged in front of the cage every few seconds.

Two Guys

Well I had this idea and thought I would take a shot at this but would work on it with a friend. So me and Mike England we started working on an article currently called. Two Guys Trying to Decode the Female Mind.

Now this project was thought to be possible we are slowly finding that was a miss calculation. So expect to see this work of Humor and Terror in the next few whiles. =p

Hurricane Katrina

I haven't really talked about Hurricane Katrina but it's really a sad thing that is happening down there.

I was reading this artcile Article Link

It is talking about how New Orleans will be a ghost town for at least 9 months and most people will remain homless for two years. Can you imagine being left without a home for two years?

One thing that boggles my mind is that they knew about this problem for years before it happened. According to this article in the LA Times by Tim Rutten And it talks about how years ago they knew this was going to happen but nothing was done.

I was also hearing on a really anti bush talk show that one reason he waited for so long was New Orleans was a mostly black city. That got me thinking blacks have never been a real fan of Bush was he waiting for some sort of bizarre revenge?

Then I saw this Image on Pointing out if white people do it they are residents but if they are blacks they are looting? Umm isn't it the same thing?I have never liked Bush I didn't vote for him. I made a massive movement to call everyone I knew and told them to go out and vote. It pisses me off that people have this right to vote but they choose not to use it because they are to lazy to go out and educate themselves on the issues. Do they understand that their future and everybody elses future is on the line?

I really think that Bush messed up big time. And even the Reds are even thinking WTF. I know we will never see a Bush in office ever again. I really hope so I can't see one positive thing from Bush. But ugh anyways thought I would comment my thoughts on this whole issue. Wanted to get all the facts and all the views you know.

I do suggest Donating to the Red Cross I made a donation and I really suggest you do the same. Forget that extra soda or beer. Don't buy that CD or DVD you have wanted. People are hurting and need our help. So do your part.

Thank You.

Blogger Spam

I am finding that the spammers are taking over the blog comments. I can either enable image verification or turn on accounts. But most of my comments are from friends without accounts. So maybe just do the image thing.

But I will see how the spam goes from here. Before I do that

Past Few Days - Post #450

Well my Most Played song updated to Green Day - When September Ends but anyways lets get to the reason why I was stressed.

Well most of the time I am the calm and laid back guy but Friday was just pure stress. Recently my Service Car Soon light has been on and I found it was a lightbulb problem so I went and got new headlights and to install new headlights on my car I pretty much have to take the front end of the car off. My last car was a piece of crap but changing the headlights was always easy. Three twists and you were done. BUt anyways I get the front end off and there are these things called a Retaining Clip that holds the headlight in It's this black ring. But as soon as I get it off the inside plastic pieces all break off. Right then is like shit I don't need this stress. It was friday night I had places to go. I was going to hit the gym and go hang out at a coffee shop. So I had to start making phone calls to car parts stores.

I called the first one Schucks and they were like call this parts store. So I called that parts store and they said we only carry those for older models you will have to call the dealer. But the dealer closed at 5:30 so I couldn't fix my car and didnt want to reattach my headlights and rebuild the front end again so I was stranded for the night. And people were calling me hey want to hang out. I am thinking I can't get there but now everybody is calling me. So I just stayed at home and watched my new movie Sideways on DVD.

Next morning I got up at 7:30 and took a shower and then got ready and called the car dealership said I need the two clips and they tell me that they have the clips they are $11.86 * 2 + Tax at 8.6% here in WA for a damn little plastic ring. So I get home and finish installing the bulbs and I could actually drive places now.

So Saturday I go to work and work till 8 and then I drive up to my Aunts House to go to this family gathering which was a going away party for my adopted cousin Alex she is going away to some private school in Boston. So my headlights are working at night and then I turn on the brights and my left headlight explodes. So today I have to go buy another headlight. That always seems to happen with me when I replace headlights. Last time I replaced my headlights in my old car I was driving with my new headlights and I hit a dog and it took out my headlight right after I replaced them. It always seems to happen with my new left headlights.

So I will get that replaced today and then hit the gym and live on. So that's what my issue has been with all the stress.

Pissed Off

For the first time in many moons I am actually stressed out and pissed off. But I could express all this hostility on the blog but instead I am going to go kill 12 - 14 year olds in some online game and blog about my anger when I am in a more calmed state.

One Headlight and Some Random Tangents

Well today was a bit of an odd day. Got up and hit the gym this morning did 30 mins of cardio and then lifted worked on the chest and back. I need to do some overhead press but it screws up my shoulder and they pop like crazy and can never get a good workout it seems. Anyways.

Came Home took a shower then went to work and worked till 10pm or so and got in my car and was driving down the road and the "Service Soon" light came on I was like "Oh Shit Oh Shit" so I pulled over to the side of the road and turned the car off but left the radio on so I started flipping through the manual trying to see what the light and the # meant and One Headlight came one the radio. And the manual said If this is what you see it could mean that some part of the lighting system is failing and sure enough a headlight went out. I was like "Thank Something Easy to Fix" and it was a bit Ironic that one headlight was also playing on the radio. I love that song Probably my #1 favorite song.

Something also happend I was just kinda minding my own business and this girl at work was coming in and she was like "Oh My God I'm so Happy" Then she just lept into my arms and gave me a big old hug. I was thinking sweet I always dig a hug. Sidenote one of the best things that I really enjoyed when I had a girlfriend was coming home and she would just come running up to give me a hug. I always loved hugs. But anyways I was like what was that for and she said she just got approved for some apartment.

Then got off work and went over to Ollies House and we went to check out his new place. Not to bad I was happy for him it was a lot better then I expected. Then we went to Jack in the Box and I must say their Diet Coke sucked ass. I can't say I like that Jack in the Box it has this horrible stench in there and it creeps into the food and it's like your eating disgusting stench food.

Then I was driving home and my phone rings at 12:30am and it's this girl that I haven't talked to in months wanting to know the name of some techno song and she was all trying to sing it over the phone. This was amusing but I didn't have any real answer for her. She said Fine and then hung up. Odd.

Me and Mike England have been working like maniacs on the new feature we plan on launching when it's done but a lot of stuff has to happen before we can work on the first production. The software is setup but the content isn't.

And Yeah let me kill this energy buzz from the Diet Coke now and get some sleep. I think I will take a day off on Friday. Yeah that will be good. Hopefully it's a nice day might go hit up the lake one last time before summer ends. Which also gets me thinking that "new" green day song When September Ends. I saw the music video and got to thinking man what a sad video but the beginning with that little love stuff. I was like young love that's some awesome stuff. But she walks out and hits her boyfriend. WTF that's not cool you don't hit somebody else like that. But Oh Tristan it's just a slap I don't think getting slapped is cool anytime. Well maybe but that's not really what we are focusing on. ;-) Anyways check out the video it's in Quicktime since Windows Media Player is just blah. Quicktime is nice one file and it will switch depending on the bandwith you set. I would link the Quicktime 7 H.264 Version but Only 7% of my readers are Mac Users so they are the only ones that would benefit. Ahh fine here it is Quicktime 7 H.264 Version of When September Ends You can get Quicktime 7 For Windows It's in beta release 3 If you want to see how awesome Quicktime 7 with H.264 and in case you didn;t know H.264 is the next generation MPEG Codec that will be used for HD-DVD and BLU-RAY playback beacuse of how it is scalable from 3G all the way up to HD. It's some pretty cool stuff if your computer is beefy enough to handle it.

Anyways Rants and One Headlights is Done. Peace. =)
